so i decided i will post a funny video once a week from you tube. it's good for you!

this week marah and i went to my friend alix's opening (it was so crowded, so happy for her!) and then to vampire weekend. they sound like they would do a soundtrack to a really fun and quirky indie movie. the show was so much fun! here is part of oxford comma, listen!


they are these cute little nerdy boys. i wish i could miniaturize them and bring them home and put them on my dresser and have them play their fun songs for me whenever i want! they are going to be big, i'm telling you! i just hope a stylist doesn't get a hold of them and make them too cool for school. i like the whole geek angle.

friday was ridiculous. i love the whole walking in the city thing but not in a torrential downpour. i was soaked up to my thighs and my umbrella didn't do much of anything. my phone died (fyi, please send me your cell #'s since the phone completely pooped out) and i had drama with t-mobile. i officially hate them - total jerks! anyway, i'm now with verizon but still have my same telephone # so no changes there.

later friday it finally stopped typhooning so i decided to head down to marah's b-day party at trash! @ rififi. it was a lot of fun. we cut some rug, got our 80's/indie dance asses on and all that good stuff.

i went to long island yesterday for a visit to erin's house. it was nice and mellow and laid back and involved eggplant parmigiana. i'm so addicted! i came back today and the l train wasn't running so i then brilliantly got lost in the west village for close to 30 minutes before i could finally catch a cab. i am still so clueless!

earlier tonight i heard all this commotion and a helicopter and the cops on their bullhorns. i was just like good night, what the eph is going on? it was just the giants nerds yelling and being excited. i completely forgot about the superbowl! to me it's super boring, anyway.

marah and i may head to a bowie night on tuesday that i've been dying to check out. then i am on my way to dc to grab stuff from storage to move up to nyc. if anyone wants to check out what i'm getting rid of, let me know. we'll be at the storage unit on thursday in va. then it's siouxsie in concert this weekend. woo hoo! i get to get my goth on and i'm making jay and rita jean come with me. be prepared, boys, i'm going to put black eyeliner on both of you! YAY!!!!!!!
